Big 2nd Half Powers Penn-Trafford Boys Past Norwin 65-43Penn-Trafford followed up a slim first half lead with a second half explosion, beating rival Norwin 65-43 in a Class 6A Section 3 boys basketball game on Tuesday, January 15 at Norwin. Norwin trailed Penn-Trafford by only a single possession after one quarter of play, 14-11. The Warriors started to open up some breathing room in the second quarter, but the Knights battled back to be down only 6 points at the half, trailing 32-26. But the second half was all Penn-Trafford's, as they outscored the Knights 19-8 in the third quarter and 14-9 in the final frame to pick up the 22-point victory. Penn-Trafford's Kevin Stinelli led all scoring with 19, with Zach Rocco and Chris Abreu adding 10. Ty Bilinsky and Jayden Walker shared top honors for the Knights with 11. The Warriors improve to 3-2 in section play, 8-5 overall, and travel to Baldwin for a non-conference game on Friday. Norwin drops to 1-4 in the section, with a 6-6 record overall.
